Premiere Pro 26.3.2 extremely laggy

It is the same here for me. It starts working off fine, then progressively it gets laggier and laggier, and it’s completely unusable. I have restarted several times, removed files off my SSD, reinstalled drivers, updated everything, and cleared my cache.

Here are my specs:
Windows 11 Home
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super (NVIDIA Studio Driver v616.56) 
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core
32 GB DDR5

Same for me since 26 came out. I also had to revert to 25.

Windows 11 (all latest drivers)
NVIDIA RTX™ 4000 ADA, 20 GB GDDR6, 4 DP
Intel Core™ Ultra 9 285

Same here. These horrible updates that make the software completely unusable need to end.

Sorry to hear that. We’re investigating reports of UI lag and freezing in 26.3.2. Since 25.6.6 is working well for you, staying there for now makes sense.

Could you share your OS version, CPU, GPU, and GPU driver version? Also, does the lag occur in a new, empty project? That information can help the team narrow this down. Sorry for the hassle.
