Premiere Pro 5.5 title generator freeze-ups

Hi all! Yes, I'm still using 5.5 and it's working great on my 2013 mac, thanks -- except for the title generator, which now and then stops accepting changes/edits. I've tried rendering, clearing the cache (I think, the preview folder?) and of course restarting. The other thing is, if I walk away and come back a few days later, I start up again and it's working just fine. I'm shutting down the computer (not sleep) when I'm not working. Any tips?

Still have that up and running! It's out of Adobe Support.

Try to reset the preferences if that applies to this old version.

Thanks Carlos. I tried a bunch of cache clearing and restarting and now it's back to normal, running just fine on the original discs / Mountain Lion / no internet connection. (I send work out on a different machine). Who needs Adobe support? 🙂
