[Premiere Pro] Audio Effects Not Rendering On Export

I'm a concert videographer and need to deliver simple clips that are just colour graded and a bit (audio) mixed. I've encountered an issue now that my (audio) effects don't process when I export the video's. Whilst editting I hear them and sound correctly within Premiere Pro, but the exported video only has the original straight out of camera sound recording.

I've tried:

  • putting the effects on the audio track mixer (my usual)
  • putting the effects on the individual clips
  • downgrading Première to previous versions
  • deleting the project and starting all over in a new one

Best part of it all: when I send my footage to a peer and they try it, the exact same thing happens.

Gear I use is a Sony A7SIII and a Rode Videomic Pro+ in case this is of imprtance.

Wow, that would be ... annoying ... jeepers.

I imagine you've made sure that Global FX mute isn't 'active'.

If you send audio to Audition, does your timeline work show up over there also, in listening to the file in Audition?

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
