Premiere Pro Audio glitch

Everytime I put a video into premiere pro its audio is glitched, ive even tried adding videos that I have used in the past and it still does not work.

You've got to be a little more detailed than that if someone is going to be able to help you. What kind of media are you working with? What kind of glitch? Does it work in the source monitor? What have you tried already?

so im using mp4 files, when I look at them beffor importing it into Premire pro the audio seems fine but once I import it the videos audeo becomes choppy even in the source monitor. I have tried reseting my computor and uninstaling and reinstaling the app but that does not seem to work. the video also seems to be speed up a little.
