Premiere Pro C++ SDK download returns 2KB invalid ZIP / HTML page

I am trying to download the Premiere Pro C++ SDK from Adobe Developer Console.

The downloaded file is named as a .zip, but it is only about 2 KB and cannot be opened as a ZIP archive. Inspection shows that the file is an Adobe Developer Console HTML page saved with a .zip filename, not the actual SDK archive.

I tried:
- Personal Adobe account
- Incognito/private browser window
- Clearing Adobe cookies
- Different browsers

Is the SDK download link currently broken? Is there an alternate download URL for the current Premiere Pro C++ SDK?

@SST-KS Sorry about that, it was an issue on our end. It’s been fixed now, and downloads should work again. Thank you for alerting us.

Thank you for looking into this.

I can confirm that the SDK download is now working. I was able to download the Premiere Pro C++ SDK successfully.

Thanks to that, I was able to build a very useful plug-in for my workflow. In recent versions of Premiere Pro, especially in Premiere Pro 2026, I have been having trouble with some third-party audio metering plug-ins becoming sluggish or nearly unusable inside Premiere’s audio mixer. Since this is probably a rather niche workflow, I was not sure whether it would be addressed quickly.

Using the SDK, I created a Mercury Transmit based solution that sends the audio out to a separate companion application. In that external application, I can keep my VU meter, stereo scope, and loudness meter running continuously, without having to insert metering plug-ins directly into the Premiere mixer for every sequence.

This has already made my editing and delivery-check workflow much smoother.

Thank you again for fixing the download issue and for your support.
