Question

Premiere Pro Can't Find Footage

Hello,

I am having an issue where I work in Premiere Pro and everything is going well. Then once I log out and log back in, Premiere Pro won't load my footage anymore, even when it's able to locate them. I have not moved the footage. I have the newest version of Premiere Pro and made sure to have the right settings. Normally, when it does this, I just update my computer or update Premiere Pro and it's able to load the footage, but this time, I don't have any updates and I am stuck. Has anyone had this issue before, and if so what did you do to fix it?

Also what do you mean when you say it "won't load" your footage?

Won't link? Doesn't display in source monitor?

Not enough information to even guess.

Troubleshooting always requires data. OS/CPU/RAM/GPU, and the specific number dot number version of Premiere ... "newest" doesn't tell us anything, because how do we know you have the actual latest build as of when we read this?

And in this case, both the media format/codec, and the specifics of your disc setup where the media is stored. Internal, external, NAS or SAN? Does anything like Dropbox or OneDrive have access or watch over the folders the media lives in?

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
