Question

Premiere Pro CC 10.4 and Dolby E

I imported a Dolby E stereo wav file into my sequence and it sounds like static all the way through. I realize it might need a decoder, but I am just trying to export out a multi-channel file. Will the Dolby E file be able to be decoded on the exported file?

Thanks a million for any suggestions on how to do this.

Does the new version of Premiere handle this?

Hi Matt V,

Have you checked this out? SurCode for Dolby E Decoder - TLS Corp

Thanks,
Kevin

I don't actually need to decode it, I am just wondering if it is capable of being decoded once it is exported as a multchannel quicktime?

You will likely hear in the exported file exactly what you hear in PP.

But hey...you can always test it.  Then you 'll know.
