Premiere will not rename my clips when ingesting using the copy option.  I am doing this because I have clips with the same name form AF100 mfx format. "00000.MTS"

I have the preset set up to use the filename and the time. this is what I get in Encoder

Preset did not rename file as you can see.

What am I missing?

Thanks

I believe that this is a straight copy feature and doesn't have allow you to re-name your clips during this process.

Might be a nice feature request.

So interesting development.  It works when I move the .MTS file out of the AF100 file structure from the stream folder.

Premiere recreates that file structure on the new location and it does not assign a new file name in AME with the time stamp added.  Must be the file structure that is gumming it up...too bad really.  Kind of a work around I guess.
