Premiere Pro CC 2017 Pen Tool Cap Type

I recently updated to the new Premiere Pro 2017.  I use the pen tool from the legacy titles quite a bit in the videos I make and I noticed that in the updated text/pen tools the options have been severely reduced.  We only have stroke/fill/shadow where we once had Cap type and Graphic type.  I can also no longer find where to add and delete anchor points and where to convert anchor points.

The line tool, rounded rectangle tool, and several others from the legacy title system are also missing.  What happened to these tools?  Have they been moved or did the team not add them to the new update?

Thanks

I'm not having any trouble ... as soon as I type something in to a text box, there's a ton of tools ... in several tabs, along the right side. Including anchor points which are by the red bar on this screen-grab.

And the Title properties box is a long one of options.

Thanks a lot for the reply, it looks like you have a legacy title running though.  I'm hoping to get these same effects with the new text and pen tools that were updated last week.

If you look at my screenshot below, I made some test text with the new type tool.  The upper right two boxes that I marked in pink are where the parameters are for the new type tool that I've found.  For the type tool, it seems like everything is there from before.

For the pen tool though, there's still only those base parameters without any additional options.  Adobe removed the right click > create title action in the project file but didn't seem to include the legacy tools that you're seeing in the new update.  There's nowhere to change the cap type or add/remove bezier points.

Thanks again

Ahh ... looked to me like you were asking for those effects still in the old one.

There's some tutorials out there for the EGP, such as at reTooled.net, PremiereGal.com, others ... search for them, as some of the functions that I couldn't find are actually there, just not where I'd expected. And there are some functions that aren't in the EGP yet that they will get in the next "ish" or two.
