Premiere Pro CC 2018 crashes on start — MTL Compiler

Exactly same issue here on Mac and Sierra.

Both 2018 AND 2017 now crashing with same GPU errors, and shortly after the program itself crashed before opening up.

PLEASE fix this ASAP Adobe... not the best launch!!!

I'm getting the same errors. Engineering says the issue subsides after updating to MacOS High Sierra. Let me know if that works for you.
