Question

Premiere pro cc 2019, video gets pale on import and export.

Before importing (Screenshot taken in VLC)

After importing (Screenshot is taken from PP sequence in program monitor)

I have no filters applied, no effects. Just dragging and dropping the video and selecting match video settings (also tried match sequence settings).

Request for providing a solution that doesn't require updating PP to the current version.

It could have something to do with the way PPro has been set to interprete color from the clips.

Hi Arjit6C29,

Sorry to hear about this. We would need more info to diagnose the issue properly. Let us know the format/codec, color space & chroma subsampling for the media you are using. Also, please note that different media players can play files using different gamma standards, which might result in a slight difference in the preview. You may refer to these links to learn more about it.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,
