Premiere Pro CC 4K lags/skip on MacBook Pro 2017

Hello guys, please I need your help, I just got the MacBook Pro 2017, 16gb RAM, 1TB, 3.1ssd, 4GB VRAM for editing and I installed premiere pro and the performance has been terrible! Even my old windows laptop performs better than that. I installed prmiere pro 2022, 2019 and it's still the same.

The playback is lagging seriously and the render time also is disappointing, What can I do as I spent a lot to get this Macbook and I don't want to regret it. HELP PLEASE!

The footage is a 4k footage btw and my OS is Ventura 13.4
