I am SO OVER Premiere pro and this subscription. Ever since ive updated from premiere 2016 its been a horrible experience. There has been nothing but bugs. I can't even finish editing my video  for a client because premiere 2018 crashes every time i click on the "editing" tab. After my year is up i may just be done with them. Im losing money keeping a program i cant use.

If it goes to black when you change workspaces, hit Alt+Shift+0, or Windows > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout from the top menu. I've experienced this and numerous other bugs in the "new update" as well. Hope it helps, and let's hope Adobe gets their sh..tuff together.

Venting is fine... help requires more information

-Troubleshooting https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2261475

-Premiere Pro Video Editing Information FAQ http://forums.adobe.com/message/4200840

-WITH Exactly which version of Premiere Pro

-WITH exactly what are the codec details of what you are editing?

-WITH what effects are you using with the video?

-WITH exactly what export settings did you use for your output?

-WITH the brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???) and exact driver version

-Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

-Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

I’m sure you’re a nice guy John T, but after looking through the forum and seeing so many suffering from  this last update, we want to see Adobe take some action about fixing their product.

Stop with the patronizing John T!!  This should be the new and improved version, less bugs and better quality control.  Obviously the budgets for those depts have been slashed.  Why does it crash when I have a clip selected that I want to crawl across the screen??  This is not rocket science John.  Win8.1, 64GB RAM, i7 processor and 'supposedly' since I'm on a month to month, every time I boot up, I should be getting the latest and greatest, not some jalopy that survived Hurricaine Harvey!
