Premiere Pro CC "has stopped working" (fresh install on fresh Windows 10)

I did a fresh install of various applications of the CC 2017 suite on a fresh install of Windows 10 64-bit on a new PC with a J4205 CPU, 16 GB RAM and onboard Intel HD graphics 505. Photoshop, for example, runs without any Problems. But at least Premiere Pro and AfterEffects quit shortly after the start with a Windows message saying that the program "has stopped working" and must be closed. The Windows protocol shows that the error is thrown in PlugPlug.dll (sorry for the German text):

Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: Adobe Premiere Pro.exe, Version: 11.1.2.22, Zeitstempel: 0x592e1ca1

Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: PlugPlug.dll, Version: 7.0.0.30, Zeitstempel: 0x582425f6

Ausnahmecode: 0xc0000005

ID des fehlerhaften Prozesses: 0x20f8

Startzeit der fehlerhaften Anwendung: 0x01d33ce5a1180fa2

Pfad der fehlerhaften Anwendung: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017\Adobe Premiere Pro.exe

Pfad des fehlerhaften Moduls: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017\PlugPlug.dll

I tried already to use different older versions of the graphics driver as well as reinstalling the Adobe software - without any success.

Various search results suggest that this has something to do with the graphics card (or the onboard graphics). I know that Adobe recommends specific graphics cards, but this requirement is labelled as "optional", so theoretically it shouldn't crash with other cards.

Is there any way to make sure that changing the graphics card will actually solve the problem, or should I look for other possible causes for this error - and if yes, how?

thanks,

Pascal
