You seem to be only one with this "issue" to date.

    What would they fix?

I try update Adobe Premiere Pro CC to 7.1 again.

I tried many ways, and finally I found a solution.

Download PR CC 7.0.1 update file and extract "ImporterFastMPEG.prm". Copy and replace to PR CC Plug-in folder.

    This way solve my problom.

Using privous "ImporterFastMPEG.prm" to fixed it.

Hey! I was googling Media Pending to figure a solution for an endless state in Premiere Proc CC, when this site showed up.

I´d just like to share that this might fix it if one encounter that problem (on Mac):

    1. Close Premiere Pro

    2. Open Terminal

    3. Paste: mv ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Premiere\ Pro/ ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Premiere.old

    4. Hit enter, close Terminal and retry Premiere

This solution should force Premiere to rebuild some settings regarding plug-ins. I´ve worked for days trying to figure this out, and just wanted to share ^^,

mmm didn't work. Still got the same issue, I have about 20 min of editing and then it freezes.

Audio still plays but footage doesn't do anything.

I just upgraded to the 2014.1 version but the problem still occurs.

Everyone having this problem, i have found a temporary fix

Without changing any of the settings, because none of the current suggestions worked for me, when the Media is Pending, move the clip and it fixed the issue.

Having the same issue also, deleted all the cache files from the location. Opened up Premiere CC 2014 8.1, let the cache rebuild. After a while problem reappears, frozen playback and media pending for "all" clips though audio plays. I have more than thousand clips on a 40 minute timeline. I cannot move every single one of them or uncheck and recheck the effects as it was suggested on another post on an other thread. Was not a problem with CS6 and CC, it introduced itself after 2014 and the 8.1 release didn't fix it..

    Same problem...

I can edit for about 10 min. and then it just freezes up.

When I try to shut down Premiere it doesn't respond and I have to force quit it.

I'm paying for this shit.. Don't release a product without testing it!!!!!

I have this problem. Used Premier Pro CC for the first time today and when I bring in a bit of footage and change a simple setting like scale up the image I get Media Pending in the sequence. I have been using Premier for years. Bit of a bug then!

I am having the same problem... I think.

I convert my media through MPEG Streamclip to Apple Pro Res (HQ22) and, interlace my video and have it set to 1920 x 1080 30fps. Whenever I open Adobe Premiere CC and I use the exact information as the footage, it will always tell me that its the wrong sequence settings to the footage, so I click "Change Sequence Settings" (thinking that I have done something wrong. Then that Media Pending will always come up, and then I always get drop frames and the footage looks clumsy. I have tried so many times to change the sequence settings to whatever the Properties of my clips say, and yet the same thing always happens.

I just upgraded to CC and used CS5 before. I have the adobe suite and don't have a problem with the rest of the Adobe programs. Thinking I might convert back to FCP 7 if things stay this way!

    Can anyone help???

I am also having the same problem. When accessing files created in the last few months, (source files have been updated in some cases but same file name always), I get media pending message in several if not all clips, and usually premiere crashes. This started happening within the last couple of weeks. After several attempts at opening the file I usually get it to open correctly. I finally got a project file to open correctly this morning after 8-9 attempts. Exported a QT move, then closed premiere. Tried to open the same project a few minutes later and same media pending issue. This seems to be a recurring Adobe issue that needs to be addressed. Windows 7, 64bit. 32GB RAM

I did discover that I am having the problem on a Mac, but a friend is using windows and doesn't have the problem.

I am having this problem too!!!! Utterly ridiculous... brand new project, brand new machine, brand new instal, no cache or rubbish to clear, so it's obvious from what's above this is happening over and over... the xm settings check box didn't really work... so I found another way round, and that is to uncheck the fx button, then check it again. Rubbish solution, especially if you find yourself with 10+ boxes to uncheck and check each time. Please don't bury your head on this one Adobe... fix it sharpish, it's real important!
