Premiere Pro CC won't respond after opening file

I'm fairly new to using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, so you may have to baby talk me through a lot of this, but I'm really frustrated. I've been working on this project for weeks and all of a sudden premiere doesn't respond whenever I open my project. I've tried restarting my computer and I've tried starting a new project and importing this one into the new one, but it also doesn't respond when I attempt to import it. I'm on Windows 10 and I've been using the latest version of premiere. Please help me because this is very important and I can't lose this project. Thank you.
