I'm experience repeated crash when I try to use Premiere Pro v 24.2.1 on my Windows 11 PC. The sequence of the crash is as follows\

1. I open up Premiere Pro

2. I open up any existing / new project and start working on it - it crashes in some time varying between 30 seconds to 300 seconds at random.

3. At times it crashes without opening up a new project even when the program is not in the foreground.

4. I'm able to access menus etc after the program launches and I'm able to set preferences etc, but I'm unable to work

5. I was experience this crash since last week, post which I reinstalled Windows on my PC, and did not install any other software but this.

Harware Configuration

Brand name: MSI

Windows 11: OS Build 22631.3296

AMD Processor - Radeon RX 5500M Graphics

After spending about 2 hours with the customer support team. We reached to a solution  to either downgrade the PP version to v23.0 or upgrade to PP beta. Both are working. Only v24 crashes. So for now, that's my working solution.

I  have tried all that you mentioned above. I've tried new project, new windows insallation, reverting to Microsoft basic display drivers, removing input from audio hardware. Nothing has worked so far. I've been on chat with an agent, and right now I'm trying to see if the Beta version of Premiere Pro solves the crash issue. Will keep things posted on thsi thread if it solves for the crash issue

If on launch you don't select a previous project, but instead create a new one, with a few different clips, does that new project crash?

And did you dump all cache files on launch ...hold down Shift while launching, select the delete cache option ...
