Question

Premiere Pro crashing after splash screen

Hello!

When I launch the same PP (V 23.2.0), I get the splash screen, but then it dies and fails to launch into the program itself. I have a Zephyrus G14 with Nvidia Optimus (both iGPU and RTX 3050 dGPU with MUX Switch). Premiere seems to only work when the GPU mode is set to both iGPU and dGPU, but I want it to work on my integrated graphics card as well so that my battery doesn't drain very quickly when I just want to do some editing on the go. I've changed Premiere Pro to use power-saving integrated graphics in System > Display > Graphics and also in the Nvidia control panel, but it still doesn't work. The error from the event viewer log is pasted below for your reference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem.
I had an eGPU (3070ti) connected to my laptop for editing.
When I go out, premiere crashes on startup and I have to remove the nvidia driver every time I go out to work on it.
