Premiere Pro crashing when adding dropshadow, now crashing when I export

Hi all,

I recently purchased an Macbook for work so I can use premiere pro, it's been only 3 days and I am having issues with Premiere Pro, I was adding dropshadow on my text then it just crashed out of no where, then a couple tries later, I try press play to view the footage with the dropshadow and it makes a glitching noise then it crashes the app. Now after trying to avoid dropshadow to put on my text, I am finished with the video now I try to export the video and it just crashes automatically, can anyone help me please?

Hi @Joshua31019892fl6j,

Thanks for the message. Can you give us the specs for your Mac? I have an M1 Mac and could not reproduce the issue. Is the drop shadow on a clip or a still? Any other pertinent info? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin
