Premiere pro cs5

Hi, guys, someone can help me please with issue, can be simple for somebody but i'm stuck. I use PP cs5 and when i drag a video to timeline than the audio file doesn't move up or down but only to the left of right after unlock. How can i change it to move all directions? Thanx a lot

I can't post a screenshot as I'm not at my editing computer now, but look at your audio tracks.

Your media is stereo. Check Audio Tracks 1 and 2 and see if they are stereo, mono, or 5.1 stereo.

and how can i check if this track is empty?

I'm still not at my editing computer, but try expanding the audio tracks vertically and hover over any icons you see near audio 1 and audio 2.

That's because the audio properties of track 3 is not the same as the properties of audio track 1 and 2.

What are the properties of the audio and the three tracks?

thanks but i really dont get it........but audio track 1 and 2 have no properties, its empty.

by the way sometime before i didn't nave this problem........maybe i clicked some wrong bottom.

so i want to move audiofile from audio3 to audio2 or 1 but it doesn't move.

What file type?

If mp3, convert to wav before importing into Premiere Pro.
