Question

Premiere Pro CS6 not using NVidia GTX 1080

I have Premiere Pro CS6 and an NVidia GTX 1080 video card with 8GB of RAM. I've added the video card to Premiere's whitelist and selected it in the project settings for rendering. Still, when I export, it takes a long time even with only a couple effects applied, and Task Manager shows that the GPU is essentially not being used at all. I would expect the GPU to be getting hammered during export. Anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

Thanks,
Jay

Not everything uses CUDA... read this

I don't think export uses the GPU very much

Hmmm. If I'd read that before (probably did), then I'd forgotten. That's too bad. Guess I'll just need to forget about fast exports. Thanks for the reply.
