Premiere Pro CS6 - Replace multiple clips on timeline?

Hi, I'll make this quick. In my timeline I have a clip that I've chopped up and arranged in a certain way. However, I realized the clip is wrong, so I'm looking for a way to tell Premiere "replace all of these bits on the timeline with a different clip, but keep all the cuts and effects in the exact same place, exact frames, everything." I've looked for tutorials but everyone is talking about "replace footage" in the Project window, which prompts me to select a file outside of Premiere. I want to replace the clips on the timeline with something that's already in the Project. Right clicking the clip in the timeline shows me the "Replace clip" option but it's grayed out. But even if "Replace clip" wasn't grayed out I can't imagine right clicking on each individal piece of clip to replace it. Is there no way to just say "replace ALL these clips on the timeline with this other video"?

The only workaround that I could think of would be to make a copy of the replacement clip and rename the copy of the replacement clip to the same name as the original clip.

The "replace clip with.." only works with one clip at a time. It will not, however, add the cuts in the proper places.  You will have to manually adjust the cuts.
