Premiere Pro CS6: Wrong version of Media Encoder started

Hello community,

I have the following problem: when I try to export my video from Premiere Pro CS6 by clicking on the button for the media encoder queue,

the wrong version of the media encoder is started. So instead of activating the 64bit version the 32bit version comes up.

Both media encoder versions are installed on my PC, but in different folders. To me it looks like Premiere Pro is looking in the wrong

folder when starting media encoder.

Any ideas?

    Hi Rameez,

no, I haven't solved the problem. However I came up with a work around. It is like this: before exporting a video to

media encoder I start the 64 Bit version of media encoder manually. When I then export the video it shows up in the 64 bit version of media encoder.

    Hi Kulpreet,

there are two different executables on my hard drive:

    Adobe Media Encoder.exe / 17.09.2012 / File Size: 2.019 KB

When I double click on it the 64 Bit version is started

    Adobe Media Encoder.exe / 17.09.2012 / File Size: 1.814 KB

When I double click on it the 32 Bit version is started

These two versions are stored in different directories
