Premiere Pro doesnt start after latest update! SfmDxGetSwapChainStats not found in d3d9.dll

Premiere Pro doesnt start after latest update - which was 1 or 2 days ago. Entry point "SfmDxGetSwapChainStats" not found in d3d9.dll - freely translated from german.

I used to run premiere pro on windows 10 in a virtualbox - host is ubuntu. Everything updated to the latest version. Does anyone know how to fix that? besides installing windows as dualboot or buying a windows machine?

Before that it did work perfectly... I also get this error with Adobe Illustrator - but it starts despite the error.

Adobe Bridge also gives that error and doesnt work - but I dont really need that... but for premiere it really hurts.

    So it seems that my windows installation is screwed up... reinstalling windows lets premiere boot again... I hope that will not cause my other troubles .

    I also found stuff related to fixing the installation in virtualbox forums... However that link was open in my erased windows XD...
