Premiere Pro Export Problume

Hi everyone,

I’ve been running into an export issue with Adobe Premiere Pro, and I’m hoping someone in the community can help me troubleshoot. Here's the situation:

Export Error Details:

  • Encoding Time: 00:13:34
  • Date/Time: 01/11/2025 02:27:42 AM
  • Error Message:
    • Export Error
    • Error compiling movie.
    • Error completing render.

File & Export Settings:

  • Exporter: H.264
  • File Path: D:\Sequence 1.mp4
  • File Type: H.264
  • Error Occurred At Timecode: 00:27:27:01
  • Component: H.264 of type Exporter
  • Selector: 9
  • Error Code: 3

I’ve checked my timeline, and there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable issue at the reported timecode (00:27:27:01). I’ve also tried restarting Premiere Pro and re-exporting, but the error persists.

System Details:

  • Windows 11
  • Premiere Pro Version: [25.1.0]
  • CPU: [ Intel(R) code(TM) i7-11800H @2.30GHz ]
  • GPU: [ Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU ]
  • RAM: [ 16GB ]
  • Storage: 😧 drive (with enough space available)

Troubleshooting Steps Tried So Far:

  1. Cleared media cache.
  2. Changed the output file name and location.
  3. Switched between hardware and software encoding.
  4. Ensured all media files are properly linked.
  5. Tried exporting a shorter segment of the sequence (which works fine).

Does anyone have any insights or suggestions on what might be causing this error? Could this be related to a corrupted clip or an effect at the timecode? If you’ve faced a similar issue, I’d love to hear how you resolved it!

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Looking forward to hearing from you all. 😊

Cheers,
Yashh Lodha

Hi @Yashh Penchi -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Neil has a good question on drive space and effects.

What gpu are you using and which driver?

I hope we resolve this for you soon.

Sorry for the frustration.

Premiere does require 4-5 times the expected final file size free on the drive it is exporting to. That does surprise people at times. So what we think is adequate may not be.

What effects are involved? Is there especially a Warp effect applied?
