Premiere Pro giving me saturated innacurate colors in exports?
Hello Adobe Community!
First, I want to say I'm sorry for posting this here...I've been trying to figure this out for HOURS and cannot find a good answer. So here's my story with some more details:
I've been wanting to calibrate my laptops and monitors for a long time now...and finally decided to pick up a Spyder5 and save a new ICC profile to my devices. It looks beautiful and couldn't be happier! However, I started encountering my first issues inside of Photoshop...In the export PNG menu, the colors were MUCH more saturated than what the editing window had been showing me, and even doing a side by side with an export showed the same huge difference. I was able to fix this by setting the default color profile to the Spyder5 profile in the Adobe PSD color preferences, and when I export, I uncheck the "convert to SRB" check mark.
First question: Is what I did in Photoshop the "Proper" solution for the issue I was having? Or was it just a workaround? Can somebody please explain what was happening with the different profiles and the SRB stuff?
THEN...I exported a short little video in Premiere to test out the new color settings and once again...the final product is a very saturated and the colors are completely different from the editing window in Premiere (Image Below, VLC on the left and Premiere on the right) I tried different media players and even a YouTube upload and still the same result...it's not an issue with VLC.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on...and these profiles are really confusing me...I cannot think of why things are not exporting (or playing locally) properly. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks to anyone who helps out in advance!
