Hello dear

We are a company that makes video servers.

We confirmed that the length is automatically updated when we load the file we are recording in MXF (XDCAMHD422 50Mbps) into Premiere Pro.

However, files recorded in ProRes (MOV) could not even be loaded.

What formats (Wrapper) can Premiere Pro load for the growing up file?

Thanks.!!

Correct answer PaulMurphy

Premiere Pro supports the following formats for growing files:

  • AVC-Intra Class 50/100
  • IMX 30/40/50
  • XDCAM HD 50/35/25/18 (RDD9)
Note: Low-latency versions of XDCAM HD are not supported.
  • OP1B files

These are all MXF-wrapped codecs.
