Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
.
nVidia Driver Downloads https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver
-To achieve the highest level of reliability, Studio Drivers undergo extensive
-testing against multi-app creator workflows and multiple revisions of the top
-creative applications from Adobe to Autodesk and beyond
.
If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
-SOME laptops require an approved driver from the laptop company, not nVidia
.
AMD/ATI Driver https://www.amd.com/en/support
.
Intel https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/211969/Intel-HD-Graphics-Family

Thanks John. I have re-installed the latest STUDIO driver from the website. however the issue is still re-occuring.

I honestly think something has gone wrong with the latest PP update - everything was fine before that...

still happening on EVERY brand new project i create.

things such as the horizontal scroll bar & moving audio keyframe point become non-responsive - but the moment i change the csreen from full screen, they work. then the moment i maximise again - they stop working.

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP

I would suggest contacting Adobe support via chat (Make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups and cookies on your browser. You may not be able to see the chat window if using a VPN.):

https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window.
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person.
When connected to an Agent, ask to be connected to the Video Queue.

Try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

when importing the project - even though i selected "import entire project" it imported the files but not the sequence i've been working on.

I have so much editing to get through i dont have time for trouble shooting.

Something has changed since the last update & it needs to be fixed or rolled back.

You may have a corrupted sequence.

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Which OS do you have? Have you already tried resetting preferences? https://adobe.ly/3SN2a8c

Let us know.

Thanks,

KR

It is windows 10
I have reset preferences and it is still happening. Basically I cannot click anywhere on the timeline or cannot drag the slider to increase/decrease size of timeline - but the moment I reduce the window size from full screen - everything works - and then the moment I maximise the screen - it stops working.
Please fix urgently

Kind regards,
