Premiere Pro Hard Crash to Black Screen

I went to open up a project in PP today and after about 2 minutes my monitor went black and my whole system locked up, requiring a full shutdown and reboot. Before resetting, the DRAM diagnostic LED on my motherboard was lit, leading me to believe it was a memory issue. Not quite sure what it could be since it was a small project, I'm running 32 gigs of RAM, and I hadn't actually done any editing on the clips.  Any insight is much appreciated.
