Premiere Pro Icon View for Portrait Clips

Is there a way to change the Icon View for Portrait Videos? The Thumbnails stays in Landscape mode which takes a lot of empty space to the left and right of the clips.

Added a reference image for better understanding!

TIA!

Unfortunately, there is no way to reduce the horizontal space between clips in the Project panel in Icon View.

However, you can manually arrange them closer together in Freeform View. This allows you to drag and position the clips as needed to maximize space and organize them according to your preferences.

This just sucks! There's gonna be more and more vertical video editing and we are losing precious workspace... 😞

Hi @Calson Digital,

Were these shot in landscape or portrait mode? Mine are showing as portrait view if shot in that format. I hope the screenshot helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Those were shot in Portrait mode.
I'm afraid you didn't understand the question properly.
My doubt is, can the thumbnail spacing be reduced on the left and right be removed so the thumbnails can fit more clips.
