Premiere Pro in Multicam mode hangs (beachball spinning) and needs to be force quit.
Premiere Pro 2019 13.1.2
Mac Pro mid 2012 - Version 10.13.6
Footage: XDCam - Proxies
After setting up my project in Multicam mode I can play from the Multicam timeline by pressing the space bar to start and stop payback BEFORE switching over to Multicam View.
When I switch over to Multicam View and choose between cameras - either by using the numeric keypad or clicking on the camera’s image in the Multicam viewer - then stop playback - Premiere ‘hangs’ — spinning beachball. I have to force quit.
This behavior started mid-project around June 27th, 2019.
I went through all the steps to rectify the problem, restarting, creating a new project, switching hard drives with no luck.
I sill had a copy of Premiere 2018 12.1.2 — I created a new project using the 2018 version of Premiere and all works as expected.
I was able to finish my project, of course, I had to start from the beginning to re-edit the footage from the previous version using Premiere 2019.
I have started a new project (July 10, 2019) - tried to use Premiere 2019 however I’m experiencing the same behavior.
Anyone know what's up?
