Premiere Pro is exporting quicker after latest Mac and premiere update. Why?

I have a M1 Max Macbook Pro with 64GB and over the past few months I was exporting some 2 hour clips which took 6-8 hours to export. I was surprised by the time but never tried looking into it. Then after the latest Mac and Premiere updates, similar exports are taking 30 - 50 mins to export. Does anyone know why this was happening and how to avoid slow export times in the future?

There are always performance enhancments both in the OS and in Premiere as new tools and tech come along. What would be best for this test is find that exact first 5 hour output from your archives and try it again. I would suspect that you won't see that dramatic of an increase.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. The one that is exporting quicker took 6 hours to export before so that was a dramatic difference in output. Just trying to figure out wat could of happened
