Question

Premiere Pro is not launching after I updated to 25.0

I was using 25.0 just fine up until about a couple days ago. Now when I try to open my Premiere Pro on my pirmary PC I am greeted with a error box that states;

"Sorry, there was an error. This is probably a problem on our end, but it could be that you don't have an Internet connection. Please check your connection and try again later. If you are still having trouble, check out our donnectivity troubleshooting guide. Error Code: 12082"

I did have an internet connection, so I have been scouring the web for a solution. I did a check of my connectivity, no good. I re-installed the application, no good. I saw someone said the uninstall NVIDA, no good. (in fact that caused other problems that I had to fix) Also, when I look up Error Code 12082, nothing really pops up, which confused me.

Did I miss a solution somewhere? Has anyone encountered this before? Someone, please help. Thank you.

It sounds like you are using a PC? The thread title is confusing also, because it was working, and then it stopped. So probably not an update problem, which your title sounds like. Are you using any 3rd party plugins? That's a very friendly message, I've not seen it before. Maybe try loggin out of Creative Cloud then logging back in. Then start PP with the regular icon, (not double-clicking a project file). Let us know, and give us any other info which may be of use.

My apologies for the confusing title, I has assumed it was a 25.0 issue. Thank you for taking the time to help reply!

I logged out and back in, that was unsuccsesful.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled, that was unsuccessful.

I found help articles that say this was a connection error, and it led me to this page to try and fix it -

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html?linkId=100000261188883

However, I did everything on this list and it has yet to fix it.

I have some plugins installed, but that was never a problem for me in the past. I am on a Windows PC.
