Question

Premiere pro lagging after clicking on export frame

I've been using Premiere Pro since the last 3 years or so. And since the last couple of days I am experiencing this weird bug where when i click on Export Frame (Cntrl + Shift + E) and then add that frame as a picture to the Time Line there is a catastrophic lag. As a result I just cant get done with any of my work.

My PC Specs:-

Intel i7-9750H, GTX 1650, 16GB Ram, running on Windows 10

What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Try exporting to a different location.

I have 2 drives:- C and D Dirve

The C drive (which is an SSD) is where Premiere Pro Application is saved. And all of my Permiere Pro Project Files including all of  the videos and pictures, scratch disks are saved on the D Drive (HDD)

I'll try to shift the Project file to the SSD and see if it makes any difference. And thank you guys for the Quick Reply

IMO it would be best to replace the HDD with a fast SSD.
