Premiere Pro Latest Updates Have Ruined Productivity

Since the latest updates to premiere pro, the app is not as user-friendly as it used to be. Everything from the look of the sequence clips in the timeline, to no longer being able to simply use my mac touchpad to zoom in and out of the timeline has made working in premiere pro more difficult and less enjoyable.
