Premiere Pro making my RAID run non-stop.

Hi

Since around two days ago I've encountered an issue while runing Premiere. As soon as the program fires up, my RAID system starts to gargle, non-stop. It happens with or without a project running. This happens only with Premiere. Around my timeline, things work pretty normal.... although I've noticed that lately, media takes longer to load.
