Premiere Pro not batching using Media Encoder

When attempting to batch files to Media Encoder, files will not encode.

Sorry for the trouble. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, please share your export settings, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder version, and OS version.

Please describe your work flow.

Are you selecting all of the files/sequences and then clicking File (Windows) or Premiere Pro (Mac) Export/Send to Media Encoder?

I'm exporting one sequence file at a time and batching 4 files before
clicking the start arrow. The files appear normal in the batch window but
nothing happens when I click start.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
