Premiere Pro on Mac OS Tahoe 26.1

I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra and am using Premiere Pro 25.6.3 build 2.

I'm looking to upgrade to Mac OS X Tahoe 26.1 but would like to know what your most recent experiences are, before I to the upgrade.

Hi Ronnie,
Thanks for reaching out. As an employee, I tend to adopt macOS updates early and haven’t encountered any major issues so far. That said, many experienced editors prefer to wait a bit after a new OS release to ensure any compatibility concerns with Premiere Pro or third-party tools are resolved.

Unless there’s a new feature in macOS that significantly improves your workflow, there’s usually no urgent need to upgrade right away. Ultimately, it’s your call—I just recommend weighing stability against new features before making the move.

Hope that helps!

Take care,
Kevin
