Premiere pro program monitor and scopes go black intermittently, and won't come back without restarting the program. what gives?

i9 PC Windows 11 Pro

Problem is intermittent, after the app has been used for a couple hours

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

DUH (at first). Thanks! I should have known that. I tried it, It worked for a day, and just happened again.

Have you tried re-sizing the window when it goes black to see if it brings the image back? Not an optimal fix but may be faster than re-starting.
