Premiere Pro Sequence Preset Upload Not Showing Up

I have downloaded some sequence presets that are wide format sequences. I threw them in a file under Premier app - Content - settings - SequencePresets. When I restart Premiere to find them in the new sequence window they do not show up. I asked a friend who downloaded the same files and he said his worked fine. I am on a Mac High Sierra running Adobe Premiere Pro CC V12.0. Why cant I see the Preset Sequences I put in?

There aren't that many aspects to sequence settings.  If you're wanting to use a program as sophisticated as Premiere Pro, you should understand those parameters.  Creating a preset takes less than a minute.

Currently, there is no Preset import/export functionality (that I can find).  Adobe have advised against muddling with the program files and folders.

Don't mess with the folders on the hard drive.  You can duplicate the necessary settings and save that as your own preset.

That is how I have put preset effects into premiere years ago and It worked fine. How else to you get presets that involved details I don't know how to mess with. I have to manipulate the app file
