Premiere Pro - Slow or Not Responding

I am editing a 1080p video, nothing too wild. The video is just under 10 minutes in length; however, is like the app can't handle. I constantly have to make minor edits > save > end task > start again. IT SUCKS!

 

My system:

  • i7 8700 
  • 32 GB 3600 Ram
  • 512 GB M.2 NVMe drive
  • 4 GB Nvidia graphics card (Roughly 900 Cuda cores)
  • Windows 10
  • All drivers and software are up to date.

    How do you do that? I don't see that option and I clicked the sideways hamburger ••• menu; however, nothing shows up.
