Premiere Pro started going SLOW a few days ago

Premiere Pro started going SLOW a few days ago. I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling. I updated to the newest version, i've tried old versions.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Geoforce 1080 Ti driver (clean) I have the i9 7940 chip, and 64 gb ram.

Literally a few days ago it just started going slow. OH and BOOM a new version of premiere is available! No fix.

It was working fine until a few days ago.

I have a deadline (of course) in a few days and my computer lags even on proxies. PLEASE HELP

    Guarantee u it'll work. Clean wipe and install ,when u go into adobe what

    ever hard drive or ssd make sure all scratch disk etc in adobe is set go

    external hd.or ssd...

    Try see how full your hard drive is or doing a clean wipe and install of

    Windows
