Hello everyone,

I need your help since I'm experiencing many problems with Premiere Pro on my Macbook Pro M3 Max 48GB.

- All footage is on an SSD

- Project files on computer

- Media cache goes to one folder on the computer

- Ram stored for Premiere is 48 GB

- Sequence Settings (it's the same with all sequence I tried):

DSLR

1080 x 1920
29,97 fps
48000 Hz - Stereo
Working Color Space: Rec. 709

Attached an example.

What can I do? I tried to import the same media on DaVinci and it's sooo fast, however I would not like switch the software.

@jamieclarke  SOLVED the issue by removing Sony Catalyst Browse/Prepare from the Mac.
Thank you

Hi @manfredi29549288rb7w - Do you have any plugins installed?  If so can you navigate to the Effects panel and click the hamburger menu then at the bottom select "Manage Video Effects" and disable them.  Let us know if that helps your issue.

Yes, I always use 29.97 fps sequence, also in DaVinci.
I created a 50fps sequence (same as the clip) with custom editing mode and QuickTime ProRes.
Nothing changed, I have attached you the result.

What can I do? It's really frustrating. I have one of the best machine in the world and it's absolutely impossible to work with a 1080p sequence 😞

Hi @manfredi29549288rb7w - Thank you for the screenshots.  You have a bunch of mixed framerates, If you put each clip in its own sequence do you have the same results?  When you say Resolve is sooo fast can you compare your sequence settings and see if there is a difference.

Can you try changing your sequence settings to editing mode custom and change your video previews to Quicktime ProRes.

Hi Jamie, thanks for replying.
I'm using the latest version v25.0.0.
Yes, the Audio Hardware input is set to "no input".

I have 4 different sources, here you find the interpet footage for all of them.

HI @manfredi29549288rb7w - What version of Premiere Pro are you working on?  Can you make sure that in your preferences under Audio Hardware your default input is set to "No input"

Can you right click on your media files and select Modify > Interpret Footage and post screenshots for each clip.  Sorry for your frustration.
