Hi. I use the latest version of Premiere Pro (23.4). It was launching just fine until a few weeks ago. Now it takes 3-4 minutes to open even an empty projct file. Here is what I have tried so far:

- Deleting all the cache files in the Common folder

- Deleting the cache files on the Media Cache menu

- Resetting Preferences

- Using Diagnostics Tool for Premiere Pro (found nothing wrong)

- Downgrading to an older version by deleting all the settings and customizations

- Installing the recent Nvdia drivers

I use Windows 11 with 16 Gb of Rams and Intel i7 10th gen. My graphic card is GTX 1650 TI

Any sugestions?

revert to an earlier version of 23.  I recommend 23.2. if you need help doing this, post back... or did you do that already?  Do you have sufficient free space on your drives:  a minimum of 20% on your startup drive and 10% on all other drives...  It's possible your startup drive is failing.  Are you running any other programs at the same time?  If so, don't...  (this is a troubleshooting step, so don't flip out as some have done at this suggestion).    Make sure you have the studio version of the nvidia drive not the game version.    Maybe try disconnecting from network/internet.  Maybe try creating a new windows user with administrative privileges...  Post back and let us know if any of this helps.   always important to approach troubleshooting in a systematic fashion...

Thank you MyerPj and Michael Grenadier,

Hammer didn't work but creating a new user account solved the problems. I've found that it had nothing to do with Premiere, because the file search function on Windows explorer was also working very slowly and it was fixed in the new user account. So I reckon, it must have something to do with Windows itself.

Thanks.

could be another app that's loading automatically in the original user account or some sort of corruption with it.     glad you're over the hump.  It's a very basic troubleshooting step...

You're doing well, those are good things to have tried. It's hard to say beyond that. So, it was happening with 23.3 before?

You could try a hammer:

Run the Adobe Cleaner after you uninstall the programs and before you re-install them:
Also, reboot your computer between steps even if you are not asked to...
