Premiere Pro takes too long to load (Mac OS X 10.11.6)

Why does the premiere do it again and again? I have about 20 thousand files in the my edit, they are all on the hdd drive and they never go anywhere. the project is on the internal disk, and it is also never transferred. the project settings never change. But the premiere when he wants starts to load data, and it takes a whole day. The whole day I can not work from. This is not very professional.

What kind of drive is your "Zhe 4TB 01" drive?

That's an old laptop, with a slow i7 CPU, you don't mention how many drives you've got involved in the project and you've got a project with 20,000 assets, which is pretty large. Especially for a laptop. And it looks like you may have HDD's instead of SSD's, which of course means that unless each has more than 40% free, you've got a problem there.

I think you've way overloaded an older less capable computer for the demand you're placing on it. A 20,000 asset project would start to strain my desktop, which specs several 'tons' of capability past that laptop.

On this laptop works fine fcp7, avid and fpsx. With the same number of materials. Work is carried out with one 4TB drive.

Is that one drive total, or a system drive and one 4TB old-style spinning drive?
