Premiere Pro TC Window ? Seriously ?

Hey,

I am not sure if we should cancel the pro from premiere as long as the developer team gets the tc window fixed.

I am so frustrated that 200 years of knowledge seems to be forgotten in this program.

Why in the first place, we introduced TC and why it is important, even if you only edit for social media.

it can really be a benefit.

The. window is not dockable at least not like other windows. And I would love to have a simple window integrated so that we can see. TC / duration / and maybe the team just gets an old avid MC book that explains the basic consept of having a timecode in the first place.

I feel so lost in this app. Everything that gives precision is lost to gadgets that look shiny.

Get the basics straight, and everything is good:

1. Stability

2. Stability

3. Stability

4. TC

Just kidding. Don´t get me started.

I am thinking of returning to my old Steenbeck, and everything is at a glance. Why would they do this?

cheers

I hope you are having some laughs.

As Ann mentions, the Timecode panel is dockable though I'll admit it's hard to find. It uses the same small draggable area that the Audio Meters panel uses so that it can fit in to small areas without wasting space with a large tab that just says "Timecode". Click and drag the small area at the top of the window and you'll see it can be added to panel groups like any other panel.

You can right click on the panel to add lines or modify lines as you like and even save presets to switch between.

That is realy unintuitive, maybe it needs a little redesign.

Timecode panel is just as dockable as all the other panels.
