Premiere Pro Update Sync Freeze

For the last few days, Premiere Pro has been updating but it seems to be frozen at 85%.  I cannot find any options to cancel or restart.  Furthermore, anything else I try to download gets put into a que with a waiting... status.

I had a similar issue.

Make sure that you have all Windows updates that are available.

The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.

Thank you Peru Bob for the response.  I'm using a Mac (should of stated that in my post) but I will check out the links you provided.
