Premiere Pro Won't Launch

So I recently got Premiere Pro and it had been working just fine up until a few days ago when it suddenly just wouldn't launch anymore no matter how I tried to do so. Whenever I click on anything that should open up the program, there's no response whatsoever. On my adobe cloud it says Pro could use an update, but whenever I click to start the update and hopefully fix the problem, it tells me that I have to close out of the program first, even though I can't even get into it. I also tried uninstalling Pro but then it said the same thing. I genuinely have no idea why this is happening and it's pretty frustrating that I can't access anything I've been working on within the program. Any suggestions for a solution would be greatly appreciated.
