Premiere Pro Won't Open - Desperate for Help!

Hello,

My name is Chris, and I'm facing a perplexing issue with Adobe Premiere Pro on my computer. I have been using Premiere Pro for years without any problems, but now it simply won't open. The moment I attempt to launch it, it immediately displays the dreaded crash screen, leaving me utterly puzzled and frustrated.

I've reached out to customer service multiple times, and they have taken control of my computer in an attempt to diagnose and fix the issue. However, despite their best efforts, they have been unable to resolve the problem. We've gone through all the basic troubleshooting steps, from uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro to ensuring that my drivers are up-to-date, but the crashes persist.

Feeling desperate, I resorted to taking extreme measures. I installed a program called "everything," which scans and detects every Adobe-related file, folder, and program on my entire drive. I deleted everything until there was no trace of anything associated with Adobe, Premiere, or any other related files., after this drastic step, my computer acts as if it never even heard of Adobe, But after reinstalling premiere pro it still crashes.

This baffling issue seemed to arise out of nowhere, and it's forced me to edit my projects on my laptop, which is far from ideal. For context, my system runs on Windows 11, and I have impressive hardware, including an RTX 3070, 32GB of RAM, and an i7 10700K processor. Moreover, all my Adobe files, including Premiere Pro, are stored on a super-fast SSD. Despite all this, I've even tried using previous versions of Premiere Pro dating back to 2018, but none of them work.

At this point, I'm at a loss, and nobody seems to have a solution. I've diligently attempted every possible fix I could think of, and the problem persists. If anyone out there has encountered a similar issue or has any insights into what might be causing this problem, I'm in desperate need of your assistance. Customer service hasn't been able to help, and I'm out of ideas.

Please, if you have any suggestions or recommendations on what steps I could take next, I would be eternally grateful for your expertise and support. I'm truly at my wits' end and eagerly looking for any guidance or solutions to get Premiere Pro up and running on my computer once more.

Thank you in advance for your help, and I hope we can find a resolution together.

Hello! Thank you very much I'm happy to say I've found a fix. Apparently, If I open premiere pro while my elgato wave 3 microphone is plugged in and Premier refuses to open. I've had this mic for a long time, and Premiere never had an issue, so this was the weirdest issue I've ever had. I appreciate the help and I'm happy to say my premiere is %100 working now (Without a microphone) hahaha.

It's probably been done before but when i checked the dmp file it says something about

dvaaudiodevice.dll and

NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005_dvaaudiodevice.dll!Unknown

i suggest you check all your audio devices and make a memtest86  if you can

I'll tell you what, for including all those details AND a .dmp file that I can actually access, I will waive that $10 wether we can resolve it for you right here or not. 🙂

That dmp file does provide some clues, so give me some time to discuss it with the product team and see if we can idenitfy a culprit. These things often come from non-Adobe, but related hardware/sfotware like Transmit and Audio devices and GPUs. Stay tuned.

Ok that's good to know so I'll mark that correct. It lines up well with the direct message I just sent you... asking you to disconnect some audio devices if possible. Try updating the driver to that mic and see if it helps.
