Premiere Production Window misbehaving

Hi Everyone,
I'm having a problem with a Productions Project.
One of the projects within the Production is not appearing in the Production window in Premiere.  I can see it's .prproj file in Finder.

The Production Window isn't behaving as it should either.  When I right click to create a new project nothing happens, no dialogue box appears.  Nor can I move Projects between folders.
The other problem is that everytime I open the production - in the Production window, all of the folders are open and their autosave folders which I have to close individually which is time consuming.
Another small thing (and not a major one really) is that the Green pen icon doesn't pop up on the project icons in the Production window.  Just thought it might be useful information it rings any bells.

It's not unusable, I can still open most of the projects I've been working on within the Production and edit and save my changes but I'm afraid I'm going to run into problems further down the road.

I kept a copy of the original Production folder that was sent to me from the Assistant and none of the above problems are present.

I have since updated Premiere to v24.03 hoping this might help but it didn't.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

@Conall27210860idg0 Ah! Good news, there's an easy fix. You have an active search going in the Production panel (see the blue magnifier glass icon in the Search box). That explains why you weren't seeing all projects and why creating a new one wouldn't show up, etc.

Separately though, I would recommend to move all of those Auto Save folders out of your Production folder. If they keep re-appearing then something else is going on we can discuss more.

@Conall27210860idg0 Glad that was it! We should be clearing that search on closing/opening the Production panel but yeah I guess yours was stuck somehow.

It's 100% okay to manually delete those autosave projects from the Production trash in Finder. We purposefully didn't add a way to do it from inside Premiere Pro so that you could never accidentally do it, but, there's no harm in manually doing it yourself.

Matt,

Your're a star, that's all that was wrong.  I clicked on the "x" in the search box and I can see all my projects and the Production Panel works as it should.  I did find it a bit odd that the Production panel would open in search mode like that.

Anyhow, regarding those Autosave folders - From the Production Panel in Premiere - I moved them to the trash.  I'd rather permanently delete them but I don't see how that's possible from within the Production panel. I'm afraid to do it from Finder as I have been warned not to mess with the Production Folder.

Thank you so much

Hi Matt,
Thanks for this. Here are two screenshots as one of the Autosave folders
has a load of stuff in it.
I reset preferences and Green pen icon did appear on the first project I
opened but did not on any projects opened subsequently.

@Conall27210860idg0 Something is definitely off there. Ideally there wouldn't be auto save folders inside your production folder, those should be set to outside of your production folder. Could you share a screenshot of the Production panel as it looks when you first open the production? Make the panel as big as possible to show as much of the contents as you can. Thanks.
